DESIGN: We performed a retrospective analysis of TDM data from 2000 to 2010. All in-patients treated for TB with TDM performed during their treatment course were included.

RESULTS: TDM was performed on 52 patients in 76 treatment episodes from 2000 to 2010. Overall, 103/213 (48.4%) drug levels measured were low, and 5/213 (2.3%) were high. manually activated in 7 of 12 dogs at least once within 45 to 218 days (median, 120 days) after implantation. The mean mesial and distal pocket depths remained stable and measured 2.56 mm and 2.64 mm, respectively, at 24 months postoperatively. The graft showed an overall shrinkage of 18.5% in the vertical direction and 10.4% in the horizontal direction after 24 months. The shrinkage of the vertical direction compared with the horizontal direction showed a significant difference (P = .035). The shrinkage tendency was less than that described in the literature.

Two types of filler were used, that is, organically modified montmorillonite (OMMT), in which the nanosized filler particles had a high aspect ratio, and microsized calcium carbonate (CaCO3), with an aspect ratio nearer to unity. Composite fibers of both as-spun and highly drawn forms were prepared, and their structures, morphology, and mechanical properties were studied. It was found that the microsized particles gave HDPE composite fibers with mechanical properties that were the same as those of the neat polymer.

The as-deposited films were annealed at temperatures from 400 to 600 degrees C for 1 h in Ar+7% H(2). The phase formation, microstructure and the magnetic properties were analyzed. The L1(0) ordering was found to coincide with the grain growth and the interdiffusion reaction between the substrate and the thin film when temperatures above 500 degrees C were used, which resulted in lower coercivities.
