Only 10 3% of participants were classified in both the Very Low M

Only 10.3% of participants were classified in both the Very Low Morning and Low Evening Fatigue classes and 41.3% were classified in both the High Morning and High Evening Fatigue classes.

Conclusions:

Different characteristics were associated with morning and evening fatigue, which suggests that morning and evening fatigue may be distinct but related symptoms. Additional research is needed to elucidate the mechanisms that may underlie diurnal variability in fatigue. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.”
“The thermal properties (thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat capacity) of nitrite rubber (NBR)/poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) blends were measured in the temperature range of 300-425 K. The incorporation of graphite into the NBR/PVC (30/70) matrix improved its thermal www.selleckchem.com/products/MK-1775.html properties. Moreover, these properties slightly changed with the temperature. The thermal conductivity EGFR inhibitor values of the prepared samples were compared with values modeled according to the Maxwell-Eucken, Cheng-Vachon, Lewis-Nielsen, geometric mean, and Agari-Uno models. The Agari-Uno model best predicted the effective thermal conductivity for the whole range of blend ratios and for the whole range

of graphite contents in NBR/PVC (30/70)/graphite composites. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 116: 3171-3177, 2010″
“We present here the results of high temperature powder x-ray diffraction study on 0.8BiFeO(3)-0.2Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O-3, which is isostructural with the well known multiferroic BiFeO3 (BF). It is shown that the room temperature ferroelectric phase of 0.8BF-0.2PFN in the R3c space group transforms to the paraelectric/paraelastic cubic (Pm (3) over barm) phase directly

without any intermediate “”beta”" phase reported in the literature for pure BF. This transition is of first order type as confirmed by the coexistence of R3c and Pm (3) over barm phases over a 100 K range and discontinuous change in the unit cell volume. “Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the validity of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life, Core 30 (EORTC QLQ-C30) and Functional Assessment of Chronic illness Therapy-Lymphoma (FACT-Lym) instruments (Greek version) in patients with lymphoma undergoing chemotherapy, as well as the comparative evaluation of the questionnaires themselves.

Method: Health related quality of life (HRQoL) was assessed using the two previously mentioned instruments as well as the generic Short Form 36 (SF-36), which was used as a standard and its scores were compared to the corresponding norms of the Greek general population. The sample consisted of 80 newly diagnosed patients with lymphoma, who had completed their chemotherapy treatment. Reliability (Cronbach’s a), central tendency and variability for the scales were assessed.
